      It is true. I find that when we struggle with depression or anxiety, that it can be truly difficult to concentrate on our blessings. When I get up in the morning, before I get out of bed, I thank God for the night’s sleep – even if it was not the best – because He was with me and allowed me to wake up. And then I get up and thank Him as I go about the day. Sometimes, I stop myself to remind myself that He is deserving of thanks. It alleviates the anxiety, KNOWING that He never leaves me and also that He knows the tiny details of my life.
