I'm glad you came!
After 3 significant health scares, I decided to make drastic changes to overcome my anxiety & change my ways of thinking. Read my story
You've held everything together for a long time.
You've carried responsibilites, cared for others and pushed through tired days with sheer determination.
And over time, the strength that helped you keep going began to feel heavy.
This guide was created to help you understand how this happened and what to do about it.
I’ve been quiet for a while.
I had some things to think through, some feelings to accept, and some life transitions to navigate.
Today, I’d love to share what I discovered during my time away.
Have you ever reached a place where you realized the way you’d always done life wasn’t working anymore?
Many life transitions bring us to that very place.
Whatever it was, something shifted.
And suddenly…
The life you had been intentionally building no longer felt steady.
That’s where I found myself.
For years, I had been growing.
Then life changed.
And I realized something that surprised me.
The ways I had learned to navigate life had carried me a long way.
Then I reached a place where I simply couldn’t keep living the same way.
Everything I instinctively reached for left me feeling even more lost.

When life changes, our first instinct is often to recreate the life we had before.
You want things to feel familiar again.
You want life to make sense again.
You keep reaching for what worked yesterday, hoping it will work tomorrow.
So you scramble.
You search for answers.
You wonder what you are missing.
You tell yourself you simply need to try a little harder.
You keep looking for solid ground.
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID…
I kept trying to find my way back.
But every path I reached for seemed to disappear beneath my feet.
I felt lost.
And if I’m honest…
I felt desperate.
There came a moment when something settled deeply in my heart.
I can’t keep waiting for everything around me to change.
Somehow…
I have to learn how to live this life.
I knew, deep down, that God is good.
I’d believed that for years.
But if I’m honest…
My life didn’t feel good.
And I couldn’t make those two realities fit together.
So, for the first time, I stopped trying to fix my circumstances.
Instead, I whispered a very different prayer.
“God… what am I missing?”
“What do You want me to see that I can’t see yet?”
And honestly…
I had no idea where those questions would lead.
When I finally stopped scrambling for answers, something unexpected happened.
I started asking different questions.
Instead of asking,
“How do I get my old life back?”
I began asking,
Those questions didn’t give me instant answers.
They gave me something even more valuable.
They gave me permission to become curious.
So I stepped away.
I sat.
I walked.
I prayed.
I wrestled.
I listened.

I had long conversations with God, allowing Him to uncover things I had never seen before.
I gave myself space to breathe, to notice, and to meet my own heart with compassion instead of pressure.
And somewhere in that process…
Something began to change.
Over the past several months, I’ve been discovering things I never expected.
Many of them have completely changed the way I think about anxiety, healing, identity, and what it means to become the woman God created me to be.
I can’t wait to share those discoveries with you.
Because if you’re walking through one of life’s transitions…
If you’re wondering why what used to work isn’t working anymore…
If you’re quietly asking yourself,
“Now what?”
I want you to know you aren’t walking this road alone.
Maybe this season isn’t inviting you to find your way back.

Maybe it’s inviting you to discover a new way forward.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing the discoveries that have been transforming my own journey, and I’d love for you to walk alongside me.
If you’re looking for a community of Christian women who are learning to move from anxiety to calm, confidence, and deeper connection with God, I would love to welcome you into my Facebook group, From Anxious to Anchored. It’s a place where we encourage one another, grow together, and remember that healing happens in connection.

Before you go…
I’d love to hear from you.
How have you been these past six months?
What’s one thing life has been teaching you lately?
I read every comment, and I look forward to connecting with you.
May the God of Rest fill you with His presence.
