All humans have similar yearnings – longings we hold deep within.
Just a quick reminder of what T.I.N.Y stands for:
T – Transformational – Transformational change involves all of our senses. It involves a major shift in behaviour and thought patterns.
I – Intentional – deliberate, with great thought, planned goals
N – Nurturing – respectful, caring, focusing on growth
Y – Your Yearning – to be loved by God, by others, and by myself
Yearnings are Universal.
We all want to be loved, accepted, validated, and have the freedom to be ourselves. We all want to have purpose, meaning, and freedom. And we all want to be connected to other people who understand us and share our perspectives.
We all yearn to be accepted as we are – flawed, growing, trying, and sometimes failing.
We all yearn to live in harmony – with peace, joy, and rest. We all need a place to recharge.
We all yearn to be creative – to write, draw, build, create, – and to have others appreciate our efforts.
We all yearn to love and be loved – fiercely, deeply, unashamedly & courageously.
We all yearn to have meaning and purpose in our lives. These are the things that get us up in the morning and allow us to sleep with satisfaction at night.
Yearnings are DEEP within us.
We are not always in touch with our yearnings – sometimes looking at them feels vulnerable – so we can cover them up. We cover them up with work, scrolling, perfectionism, attitude, and sleep.
But your yearnings drive your life.
Join me and let’s look at what your deep yearnings are. Let’s begin to unpack them and bring them to light. Let’s embark on a journey to freedom.
