We all long to be accepted for who we are. We want to use our authentic voices with confidence and know that we are being heard. We want to show up in our comfy clothes and be noticed. We want to share our wisdom and know that it has an impact.
And we can…
Personal Transformation begins within YOU! If you would like to be the best version of yourself, you need to decide for yourself what that will look like.
Who do you want to be?
And more importantly, who were you created to be?
Long before the world was created, God had a plan for your life. He created you in a specific way so that you could walk a specific path. How can we possibly know that path?
Begin with Intent
Each morning, choose a time to connect with God and ask Him what He would like you to do today.
If you are persistent, He will answer and show you the way.
Be still and know that I am God – he often speaks to us in the quiet of our day.
Take Tiny Steps
Change takes time and intent. It can also be daunting. So begin with tiny steps. Notice God in the tiny moments of your life.
Where do you notice Him?
Capture Your Thoughts
We must be intentional about what thoughts we entertain because our thoughts will ultimately determine who we are.
Embrace Your Strengths
What things do you do well?
What do you rejoice in doing?
How can you use those skills to glorify God?
Celebrate the Wins
His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ (Matthew 25:21)
Suddenly, the longing to feel known by the world is quelled by the reminder that I’m intimately known by the One who overpowered death and walked out of that grave, victorious, so I could spend eternity in heaven with Him. (John 3:16; Matthew 28:6-7; Romans 5)
Oh, sweet friend, when you feel unknown by the world around you, take heart — you are fully known and altogether adored by the Lord.
Close your eyes; listen as the voice of the Savior tenderly breathes into your spirit every syllable of your name today.
I wonder what you will discover as you reach for the Best Version of Yourself 🙂
